Physical Education

Welcome to CRES Physical Education

Ms. Diorio - diorio@coltsneckschools.org

As your child’s P.E. teacher, my goal is to create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where every student can discover the joy of movement. Through age-appropriate activities, skill development, and positive teamwork experiences, students will build confidence, improve fitness, and hopefully a love for being active that lasts well beyond the classroom.

A key part of keeping students safe and active is wearing proper shoes. Please make sure your child wears sneakers on their scheduled P.E. day. Sneakers allow students to safely participate and move comfortably while preventing slips and injuries. If you’re unsure of your child’s P.E. schedule, please refer to their Related Arts Calendar.

For the safety of all students, if they show up to P.E. class in Uggs, Crocs, Boots, Dress Shoes, or Sandals, they will be sitting out.

To help us support every student’s health and safety, please remember that a Doctor’s note is required if your child has a recent injury that affects participation in P.E. class. When your child is ready to return to full participation, a clearance note is also required so we know it is safe for them to resume regular activity. These notes can be sent to our school nurse, Mrs. Jennings. We work together to ensure that injured students get the help that they need. Thank you in advance.

I look forward to a FUN-FILLED year!
